Oct 17, 2013 · ^^^ The OP probably wants to do the conversion because disc brakes are better. Drum brakes are old tech and I dont understand why GM went back to drum brakes on the nnbs trucks. Both of my 04 Silverados had disc brakes all the way around. I myself prefer disc brakes. To the OP I am not sure which way would be best way to go cost wise.
