Feb 13, 2017 · 1. STUDY OF ICF BOGIE K.PAVAN KUMAR VIGNAN ENGG. COLLEGE HYDERABAD. 1 2. Abstract ICF Bogie is a conventional railway bogie used on the majority of Indian Railway main line passenger coaches. ICF bogie was introduced in Indian Railways in 1965. The design of the bogie was developed and built by ICF(Integral Coach Factory), Perumbur, Chennai, India. With prefab homes, the prefabricated panels and modules are constructed in a controlled, factory-like environment.
ICF homes are quieter, more comfortable, extremely energy effecient. ICF homes are quieter due to the reduced noise and air infiltration due to the solid poured walls around the building envelope (the area of the home exposed to the outside). Prefab homes - as durable as their traditional counterparts and cheaper to build - popped up across the country, but the modern prefabricated houses had their genesis in New Albany, Indiana.
