The two-year training program follows the syllabus of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. This program aims to provide the fellows with the opportunity to become knowledgeable and competent clinical biochemists, with the skills required to be both an effective consultant for clinical colleagues and a capable Clinical Biochemistry laboratory professional. Required rotations include ambulatory care, critical care, internal medicine, orientation, pediatrics, practice management/ drug information, and solid organ transplant. Mar 15, 2017 · Thank you for your interest in Garnet Health Medical Center's Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Our Emergency Department accommodates over 77,000 emergency visits each year which includes 55 treatment bays, a helipad, and three-bay ambulance garage. The responses obtained in our survey suggest the increased emphasis on adolescent medicine during the past decade, and the creation of a required rotation in adolescent medicine may not be providing adequate training and experience in sexual health issues and pelvic exams for all pediatric residents.
