Virtual cards are the digital form of your eligible physical credit and debit cards. When you add your physical card to Apple Pay, it is stored as a virtual card. It will have a unique virtual card number that is only associated with Apple Pay. The Card Verification Code, or CVC*, is an extra code printed on your debit or credit card. With most cards (Visa, MasterCard, bank cards, etc.) it is the final three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the reverse of your card. On American Express (AMEX) cards, it is usually a four digit code on the front.
Enter the iTunes Gift Card Code and tap on Redeem button, located at the top right corner of your screen. iTunes will now verify the Code and Redeem the Gift Card. If something is wrong with the code, you will be given an error message and you will have to enter the code once again. 6. Why am I being asked to verify my Altra card? For security reasons, we may need you to provide additional verification to add your Altra card to Apple Pay. If necessary, Passbook will tell you how to verify your card. If your information is verified, you should receive a Passbook notification that your card is ready for Apple Pay.
