The sbc thats in my Diablo now is just a little 350 w/ aluminum heads & intake, roller cam,ect, w/ 5 speed Fiero trans. That motor only puts out about 360hp, the LS1 will be an easy 700hp on e85 and 14lbs of boost.

The engine for this swap was purchased as a complete package including the transmission, all accessories, wiring harness, PCM, TCM, etc.. It came from a 2006 Chevy Impala with 7 miles on the odometer. It's being swapped into an '88 Fiero GT.

- If I could do another V8 Fiero, I'd definitely go LSx, but wouldn't waste my time with the LS4/4T65 combo. It would take roughly the same effort to get an LS1/LS2/LS3/LS7, etc. into said Fiero. I'd ditch the auto and try to source an F40 6-speed manual out of a G6 or even an older Getrag 282 5-speed.
