Are samsung ssds worth it

No huge difference, but I think that the 850 Evo is worth it. Don't do the Pro, not worth the extra money IMO. I have had a 850 Evo in my Thinkpad since May 2016 and it has yet to disappoint. Considerably faster than my Kingston SSD in my desktop, I notice at times when doing large file transfers, up to 100 Mb/s difference sometimes.
